Veteran's Assistance
The Center For America's Veterans Office provides counseling for students who are eligible for veteran's educational benefits. The office helps students apply for benefits, provides information, and serves as a liaison between the veteran and the VA Regional Processing Office. The Center For America's Veterans Office is located at 126 Magruder Street.
Students who wish to receive VA educational assistance for the first time, should contact the Veterans Benefits Counselor (662.325.2024 or mowens@saffairs.msstate.edu) to determine what forms need to be completed.
All students receiving benefits from the VA must complete a MSU Verification of VA Enrollment form and a VA Information form each semester/term they wish to receive benefits. Both forms must be returned to the Center For America's Veterans Office. Your advisor must sign the MSU Verification of VA Enrollment form before returning it to the Center For America's Veterans Office. Links to download both of these forms are shown below.
