All deadlines are at 12:00 midnight unless otherwise stated.
All dates and deadlines are subject to change.
January 12 | New freshmen and transfer student orientation |
January 23 to March 24 | Apply online via MyState for May 2023 graduation - $50 fee applies. Graduate students must be currently enrolled to apply for graduation for this semester. |
March 6 | Classes begin |
March 8 | Last day to drop or add a course (3rd class day). |
March 8 | Last day to request undergraduate academic forgiveness (Last day to add a course) |
March 13 to March 17 | Spring Break – No Classes Scheduled (Dates Subject to Change) |
March 24 | Deadline to apply for May 2023 degree via myState with $50 fee |
March 25 to April 21 | Late May 2023 Degree Application via myState - $50 fee plus $100 late application fee |
April 7 | Holiday (Classes will not meet; University offices closed) |
April 10 | Holiday (Classes will not meet; University offices open) |
April 17 | Last day to drop a course with a “W” grade (24th class day) 5:00 p.m. Please note that the tuition charges will still apply. |
April 21 | Deadline (last day) to apply for May 2023 graduation via myState with $50 fee plus $100 late application fee |
April 24 | Last day to withdraw for Term Two (5 class days remaining) |
April 27 to May 1 | Classes end: Tuesday/Thursday Classes – April 27; Monday/Wednesday Classes – May 1 (Final Exams given on last class day) |
May 1 | Deadline for graduate students receiving incomplete grades in a previous semester to submit the coursework |
May 8 | Final Grades Due 10:00 a.m. |
May 12 | Last day for May 2023 degree applicants to pay account balance 3:00 p.m. |
*Drop – If you are choosing to drop one or more classes from a specific *term while still staying enrolled in at least one course. Dropping a course will result in a grade of “W” and tuition plus additional fees will be charged.
*Withdrawal – If you are enrolled in a course/courses as of the first day of the *term and you decide not to attend, you are withdrawing from the term. A withdrawal will result in a grade of “W” and a percentage, if not all, tuition will
be owed depending on the effective withdrawal date.
*Term – Please be aware there are several parts of term for the summer. Maymester, 1 st 5 week, 2 nd 5 week and the 10 week term are each considered individual terms.
