All deadlines are at 12:00 midnight unless otherwise stated.
All dates and deadlines are subject to change.

January 22 to March 21 | Apply online via MyState for May 2025 graduation - $50 fee applies. Graduate students must be currently enrolled to apply for graduation. |
March 10 to March 14 | Spring Break – No Classes Scheduled (Dates Subject to Change) |
March 17 | Classes begin |
March 17 to March 28 | Faculty advising for pre-registration (Some departments begin advising earlier) |
March 19 | Last day to drop or add a course (3rd class day). Please note that the tuition charges will still apply. |
March 21 | Deadline to apply for May 2025 degree via myState with $50 fee |
March 22 to April 17 | Late May 2025 Degree Application via myState - $50 fee plus $100 late application fee |
March 31 to April 11 | Pre-registration period for summer and fall semesters |
April 17 | Last day to drop a course with a “W” grade (24th class day) 5:00 p.m. |
April 17 | Deadline (last day) to apply for May 2025 graduation via myState with $50 fee plus $100 late application fee |
April 18 | Holiday (Classes will not meet; University offices closed) |

*Drop – If you are choosing to drop one or more classes from a specific *term while still staying enrolled in at least one course. Dropping a course will result in a grade of “W” and tuition plus additional fees will be charged.
*Withdrawal – If you are enrolled in a course/courses as of the first day of the *term and you decide not to attend, you are withdrawing from the term. A withdrawal will result in a grade of “W” and a percentage, if not all, tuition will
be owed depending on the effective withdrawal date.
*Term – Please be aware there are several parts of term for the summer. Maymester, 1st 5-weeks, 2nd 5-weeks, and the 10-week term are each considered individual terms.
